Levin

Levin Güver is the 2026 Normz Lecture Series Fellow.

Levin is a final-year PhD student at University College London, where he is jointly supervised across the Law Faculty and Philosophy Department. He holds a Bachelor and Master of Law from the University of Zurich, the latter of which he graduated as valedictorian. His research lies at the three-way intersection of law, philosophy, and psychology, and he is interested in all aspects of criminal jurisprudence – principally, the moral foundations of criminal law. His work and publications have been recognised with the Orelli Prize, the ASLP Essay Prize, and the Lex Academic Prize, and have been selected as runner-up for the Young Scholar Prize and William James Prize.

Levin will  bring his expertise in criminal law and legal theory to contribute to the series on crime, punishment, and equality and will have responsibility for mentoring MLaw students enrolled in the series.
